                                First Baptist Church of Dearborn (a barrier free church) was founded in 1924
                                                   and is affiliated with American Baptist Churches USA.
 

First Baptist Church of Dearborn has called the Reverend Diana Thompson to be its next pastor.  Rev. Thompson was recently ordained having completed

her Master of Divinity at Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis.  She has served in just about every way possible as a lay leader in her home church,

Lynhurst Baptist in Indianapolis.  While at Lynhurst she also served as interim pastor, associate pastor and Minister of Christian Education.  Diana has spent

the last three years at Emerson Avenue Baptist Church, Indianapolis to do her seminary field education. She recently served as treasurer for ABC of Greater

Indianapolis.  She is married to John who works in the printing industry.  They have two sons; Alex, who is in his third year at Purdue University and Mike,

who just graduated from high school and is starting Marine boot camp.
